The WSG 25-CR is a network-enabled gripper
The integrated Ethernet interface makes it easy to connect the WSG 25-CR to existing networks. For a quick initial startup, the WSG 25-CR provides a user-friendly web-based configuration interface with a built-in documentation and diagnostic functions that can be accessed by any standard web browser. The WSG
25-CR supports both a text-based communication protocol via standard TCP/IP and UDP socket connections as well as an industry standard Modbus/TCP interface.

Turnkey solution for Universal Robots UR series
With the WSG 25-CR, Weiss Robotics provides a turnkey solution for Universal Robots’ UR-3 and UR-5 robots. The gripper module is controlled directly by the robot controller via the built-in Modbus/TCP interface. Sample projects and ready-to-use gripping functions are included on an auto-installaton USB stick to simplify integration into custom applications.
