The WSG 25-CR pro­vi­des a built-in grip­ping con­trol­ler that uti­li­zes the latest grip­ping algo­rithms for high speed part detec­tion and grip moni­to­ring. This ensu­res a secu­re hand­ling, even if the parts are dif­fi­cult to hand­le using
con­ven­tio­nal grip­pers. Exter­nal posi­ti­on swit­ches or sen­sors are no lon­ger requi­red, as posi­ti­on sen­sing is done intern­al­ly using a high reso­lu­ti­on encoder. This sim­pli­fies your pro­duc­tion pro­cess with mini­mal effort on inte­gra­ti­on.


The WSG 25-CR is a network-enabled gripper

The inte­gra­ted Ether­net inter­face makes it easy to con­nect the WSG 25-CR to exis­ting net­works. For a quick initi­al start­up, the WSG 25-CR pro­vi­des a user-fri­end­ly web-based con­fi­gu­ra­ti­on inter­face with a built-in docu­men­ta­ti­on and dia­gnostic func­tions that can be acces­sed by any stan­dard web brow­ser. The WSG
25-CR sup­ports both a text-based com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on pro­to­col via stan­dard TCP/IP and UDP socket con­nec­tions as well as an indus­try stan­dard Modbus/TCP inter­face.

Turnkey solution for Universal Robots UR series

With the WSG 25-CR, Weiss Robotics pro­vi­des a turn­key solu­ti­on for Uni­ver­sal Robots’ UR-3 and UR-5 robots. The grip­per modu­le is con­trol­led direct­ly by the robot con­trol­ler via the built-in Modbus/TCP inter­face. Sam­ple pro­jects and ready-to-use grip­ping func­tions are inclu­ded on an auto-instal­la­ton USB stick to sim­pli­fy inte­gra­ti­on into custom app­li­ca­ti­ons.
