Patented part detection

Grip safely

The ZPG 75 is equip­ped with Weiss Robo­tics‘ paten­ted part detec­tion. The grip­ped part is thus quick­ly and reli­ab­ly detec­ted with no exter­nal sen­sors requi­red. It allows high grip­ping rates of typi­cal­ly 320 cycles per minu­te. In addi­ti­on, the grip­ped part is con­ti­nuous­ly moni­to­red during hand­ling. This avo­ids expen­si­ve addi­tio­nal sen­sors and makes the ZPG 75 the most reli­able pneu­ma­tic grip­per solu­ti­on on the mar­ket.

No external sensors

Know your position

The inte­gra­ted sen­sor sys­tem of the ZPG 75 detec­ts the exact posi­ti­on of the base jaws with a reso­lu­ti­on of 0.1 mm. This is why you won‘t need exter­nal pro­xi­mi­ty swit­ches any more, thus mini­mi­zing the inter­fe­ring con­tour of the grip­ping unit. In addi­ti­on, you will bene­fit from a pre­ci­se and reli­able set­ting of the grip­ping point, which can be adjus­ted fle­xi­b­ly via IO-Link to opti­mi­ze the ongo­ing pro­duc­tion.

The ZPG 75 achie­ves a long ser­vice life and a high pre­cisi­on thanks to its pre­cisi­on grin­ded T-slot gui­de and a par­ti­cu­lar­ly tor­si­on-resistant design. Insi­de the grip­per, advan­ced self-dia­gno­sis algo­rithms ensu­re the cor­rect func­tion of the grip­ping modu­le at all times and even under dif­fi­cult con­di­ti­ons. Plant down­ti­mes due to dif­fi­cult loca­ta­ble faults are now a thing of the past.

Get access to cha­rac­te­ris­tic para­me­ters of the grip­ping pro­cess direc­t­ly from the grip­ping modu­le. The ZPG 75 not only pro­vi­des the cur­rent grip­ping distan­ce in mil­li­me­ters but also the average grip­ping and releasing time as well as the remai­ning num­ber of cycles up to the next main­ten­an­ce via IO-Link. This pro­vi­des you with detail­ed insights into the sta­bi­li­ty of your grip­ping pro­cess, as well as a pre­dic­tive plan­ning of main­ten­an­ce and ser­vice.
