INTEGRATED GRIPPING PART DETECTION
With these gripping modules Weiss Robotics offers the first pneumatic gripper with integrated part detection on the market. This means that the gripped workpiece is detected quickly and reliably without external limit switches and continuously monitored during the entire handling process. This not only guarantees safe handling in difficult situations, but also reduces the incidental costs of your plant.
ONLINE DIAGNOSIS
Get access to characteristic parameters of the gripping process directly from the gripping module. This provides you with detailed insights into the stability of your gripping process, as well as a predictive planning of maintenance and service. This keeps your plant in optimal condition.
INTEGRATED POSITION MEASUREMENT
Thanks to the integrated sensors of the pneumatic grippers, the exact position of the base jaws is precisely measured. You no longer need any external limit switches on the gripping module, thus minimizing the interference contour of the gripping unit. In addition, you benefit from precise gripping point presetting, which can be readjusted flexibly via IO-Link during operation in order to optimize the current process.
